Santander constructing brighter future for GPL

Salford-based construction service provider GPL Civil Engineering Limited (GPL) has turned to Santander Corporate Banking to help support its growth strategy, with the help of a new funding package.

GPL is a family owned civil engineering and construction services business that specialises in a number of construction categories.  The firm employs a range of specialist staff and craftsmen that assist the company in providing a high standard of workmanship for its growing number of rail, civil, utility and construction clients.

The firm has grown turnover from £6m to £9m in 2011 and is projecting a turnover of £10m for 2012. It has recently won a number of successful new contracts and has more in the pipeline.  The company has also moved its full banking to Santander.
